Peak 8 is the main base area and features access to multiple lifts, terrain parks, and a mix of runs for all abilities. It’s also home to the BreckConnect Gondola, which connects downtown Breckenridge directly to the slopes.

Breckenridge stands out for its on-mountain experience, including Mountain restaurants and lodges, scenic viewpoints at high elevations, and terrain parks for freestyle riders.

Discounted Breckenridge lift tickets are sold by the Vail Ski Resort by way of passes.  To prioritize the guest experience, Vail Resorts will be limiting lift ticket sales across their 37 North American resorts. While they do not anticipate every day at every resort will sell out, they encourage guests who are planning to visit this season to secure their lift access in advance.

Children age four and under ski free at Breckenridge Ski Resort but still require a ticket to access the lifts.

The Frisco Adventure Park offers a comfortably small and relaxed ski and snowboard experience perfect for kiddos, those trying to progress on their skills, or those who have not skied in a few years. The hill is uncrowded, wallet-friendly and close to parking.
If you are a never-ever or are not comfortable stopping and turning on your own, we recommend taking a ski or snowboard lesson.

Bring your own gear, or rent gear off-site and bring it with you. Skiing and snowboarding gear is not available for rent or purchase at the Adventure Park.

Ski Rentals in Breckenridge

Breckenridge offers several convenient ski rental shops located near the lifts and throughout town. Renting equipment locally allows visitors to travel without bulky ski gear and ensures they have properly tuned skis or snowboards for mountain conditions. Rental shops, such as Christy Sports, offers rentals on skis and poles only if you would prefer to bring your own boots.
