Breckenridge Ski Resort Overview
The resort spans nearly 3,000 acres of skiable terrain and five distinct peaks, Peaks 6 through 10. Breckenridge offers something for every type of skier—from first-timers to expert riders chasing above-treeline bowls. The ski resort features a modern lift system designed to move skiers efficiently across the mountain with the BreckConnect Gondola (free access from town), high-speed chairlifts across all peaks and easy connectivity between terrain zones.
Peak 8 is the main base area and features access to multiple lifts, terrain parks, and a mix of runs for all abilities. It’s also home to the BreckConnect Gondola, which connects downtown Breckenridge directly to the slopes.

Discounted Breckenridge lift tickets are sold by the Vail Ski Resort by way of passes. To prioritize the guest experience, Vail Resorts will be limiting lift ticket sales across their 37 North American resorts. While they do not anticipate every day at every resort will sell out, they encourage guests who are planning to visit this season to secure their lift access in advance.

Children age four and under ski free at Breckenridge Ski Resort but still require a ticket to access the lifts.
The Frisco Adventure Park Ski & Snowboard Hill
The Frisco Adventure Park offers a comfortably small and relaxed ski and snowboard experience perfect for kiddos, those trying to progress on their skills, or those who have not skied in a few years. The hill is uncrowded, wallet-friendly and close to parking.
If you are a never-ever or are not comfortable stopping and turning on your own, we recommend taking a ski or snowboard lesson.
Bring your own gear, or rent gear off-site and bring it with you. Skiing and snowboarding gear is not available for rent or purchase at the Adventure Park.
