Winter Park

Voted #1 Ski Resort in North America

Welcome to Winter Park, Colorado!

Officially established in 1978, Winter Park was formally Hideaway Park. Years after the railroads were redirected away from Tabernash, Hideaway Park was formed.  This privately run, 10 acre tourist area had rental cabins, a cafe and a service station. Then, in 1978, a program was established to promote winter sports in the area to tourists and residents. And from there, Winter Park Ski Resort was created.
