The Town of Telluride located in southwestern Colorado and uniquely nestled at the end of a lush canyon.  Some of Colorado’s most rugged peaks surrounds the town.  The four seasons celebrates adventure. The winters showcase incredible alpine skiing.  And the summers are full of cultural events and endless outdoor activities.

A ski resort was established in the 1970’s, which quickly transformed this post-mining era ghost town to a thriving ski community.  The Telluride Ski Resort currently boasts over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain and an average of 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski resort includes a mix of groomed, un-groomed, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and off-piste terrain as well as multiple terrain parks for all levels of skiers and riders. The Gondola, links the towns of Telluride and Mountain Village.

The Town of Telluride is unique to Colorado.  This town is situated in a box canyon surrounded by 13 to 14,000 foot mountain peaks.  There is no other town in Colorado like it.  Telluride is also a National Historic Landmark District.  Just eight blocks wide and twelve blocks long,  Victorian-era homes, clapboard storefronts, boutiques, art galleries, gourmet restaurants, and historic buildings line the streets of Telluride. Founded in 1987, the Town of Mountain Village is perched above the valley floor at 9,500 feet.   It includes approximately 2,100 acres of rolling aspen and spruce-covered mountainsides. This European-style village tempts guests with the best of everything in the Telluride region.  The Gondola, a free transportation system, is the first of its kind in North America, links the two towns together.  It is also one of the area’s most popular attractions.
