The Mountain at Telluride Ski Resort is Colorado’s San Juan Mountains boast some of ski country’s most incredible terrain, and Telluride is its mecca, stashed amongst the highest concentration of 13,000- and 14,000-foot (3962–4267m) peaks in North America. With an average annual snowfall of 280″ and the heaviest snowfall in March.  Living up to its reputation for legendary terrain, Telluride has something for everyone. The Plunge, Revelation Bowl and Gold Hill offer plenty of steeps for experts. See Forever and Prospect Bowl provide ideal terrain for intermediates and the wide open, gentle slopes of the Sunshine Express and the Meadows start beginners off right while enjoying Telluride’s endless scenery.

Nordic Trails

On the Mountain there are also Nordic Trails.  To access the Top-A-Ten Nordic Trails guests can purchase a single-use lift ticket ($25, includes one lift ride up and down via Lift 10) from the Mountain Village or Big Billies ticket office or follow the uphill guidelines set forth in TSG’s Uphill Policy.

Hike Up Terrain

Black Iron Bowl is signature area for in-bounds hiking, where advanced skiers and boarders enjoy fresh tracks virtually all season.  It is an upper-mountain area accessible via Lift 12 (Prospect Lift) and a short hike out Prospect Ridge. Skiers and riders may drop in anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes hiking time along the ridge. Dropping 1,000 vertical feet on the primary pitches, terrain includes the expansive Mountain Quail couloir, European-style faces, open glades and steep chutes. Trails include Westlake, Lakeview, Review, Dihedral Chute, Dihedral Face, Jello’s Bowl and Nice Chute. For more information, visit Telluride Ski Resort.
