Colorado Climbing Company

About This Climb
The Flatirons have numerous large formations but aren’t generally very difficult making them a great option for beginner climbers who want a bigger adventure! This climb takes up to three people to explore these classic climbs.
Choose between these classic climbs
First Flatiron (5.6)
One of the most well known features in the Boulder area this climbs the longest route on the tallest part of the formation. For climbers who have previous experience this is a good cruiser route with amazing views. For those with little to no experience it can be a full on adventure.
Third Flatiron (5.4)
Another well known feature in The Flatirons the easy east face is a classic beginner climb. With enjoyable rappels off the back and potential for a couple harder single pitch routes this can be a full day experience.
E. Ridge of The Maiden (5.10+)
Not all the climbs in The Flatirons are easy. After a calf burning hike to the base climbers are standing below an amazing 5.10 crack. After another pitch of easy climbing one more pitch of reachy 5.10 leads to easier climbing. At the end a fully free hanging rappel takes you past the West Overhang (5.11) for a preview of a future climb.

About the Colorado Climbing Company
The Colorado Climbing Company was founded on the idea that climbing is a transformative experience. From that belief comes the desire to share those experiences with people and, in at least some small way, transform their lives. Our wealth of knowledge, experience, and training provides safe outdoor experiences through climbing trips and instruction so we can help our guests experience everything climbing has to offer.
Located in Colorado Springs at the southern end of the Front Range of Colorado we are a small, family owned team of expert guides who’ve dedicated years of their lives to knowing all we can about the climbing in the Rocky Mountains and beyond. We place a strong emphasis on the safety of our clients and the quality of their experience. This requires we find exceptionally qualified and enthusiastic people to join our team. There are a lot of guide services and different activities in Colorado so here are just a few of the things we think set us apart from any other guide service or adventure activity.
