Colorado is known for it’s amazing public transportation and Boulder is no exception.  If you are only staying locally within Boulder, then Uber, bike and our bus system is all you need.  If you choose to explore outside of Boulder, you may find a rental car a convenience.  Below are details on how to make your way around Boulder.


Airport Shuttle

There are several companies that can provide an airport shuttle.  Green Rides is one of the oldest running shuttle companies from Denver to Boulder.


By Foot or By Bike

A pedestrian friendly town, you can literally walk the entire width of City of Boulder in 20 minutes.  Boulder is also a bike friendly city.  There are over 300 miles of bike paths and more than 80 miles of multi use paths.  Bikes are seen zipping around town in the winter and during the summer, and are readily available for rent.


Boulder Bus Service – Just a hop skip and a jump!

Literally!  The bus system, called the Hop and Skip can be access via the app.  You can download the app here for ease of use.  The app details the route and key stops along the way.


Rental Car

 

In need of a rental car?   You can pick up at Denver International Airport. There is plenty of parking in town.  Be sure to download and use the Park Mobile app to pay for parking – parking tickets will run you $60 each – yikes!
