Paddleboard & Kayak Rentals

Enjoy a day at the Boulder Reservoir with a paddleboard or kayak rental from Rocky Mountain Paddleboards.  Enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace, enjoying the scenery and wildlife and beautiful views of the Boulder Flatirons and foothills – and get a good workout too! The staff at Rocky Mountain Paddleboards will help you load and launch your watercraft and guide you on the best routes or spots to explore.

After your time on the water, head over to the Lakeside @ Boulder cafe and grab a quick bite to eat from their menu designed to keep things simple, fresh, and satisfying.

About the Rentals

All rentals include an introduction and safety briefing including safety instructions, proper techniques, and tips for beginners.  Equipment provided includes paddle, life jacket, and watercraft as well as help with loading and launching watercraft.  Rocky Mountain Paddleboards’ staff is always there in case of any issues or emergencies during the rental period.  The return process is easy.  Simple return the equipment to the shoreline at the same location where you launched.

All walkups, please plan to pay a park entry fee of $12/person. Season passes are also available! For a full breakdown of entry fees please visit Boulder Reservoir’s website here!

Although we love your dog, they are not allowed in the park from May 15 to Labor Day.

Check In:  Boulder Reservoir is located at 5565 N. 51st St. in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Once you enter the park, follow the main road to the boathouse/marina. We are located in the orange boathouse building near the main boat ramp.
