Astronomy Tours with Astro Tours

Book a stargazing tour with Astro Tours in Boulder, Colorado.  Join us on a journey through the stars and experience the magic of the universe!  Whether you’re a seasoned astronomer or a curious beginner, our tours are perfect for anyone who wants to explore the night sky and learn more about our place in the cosmos.

Astronomy programs run several nights a week at Boulder Valley Ranch, located just outside the city limits in Boulder County.  We are easily reachable by car or Uber.

About this Tour

Tours start around sunset and last for 2 hours. No hiking is required. You’ll get to look through our large telescopes while being guided by a professional astronomer.  The Astronomer will point out constellations and share folklore. You will also learn how to use one of our telescopes and show you how to find objects in the sky.

​​We will provide all necessary equipment, including red lights, chairs, blankets, step stools, and can move telescopes to provide accessibility to all.

Our expert astronomers will give a talk about the cosmos, covering topics such as the formation of stars and galaxies, the origins of the universe, and much more. There is also time for questions and answers.  Please stay and continue stargazing as our team takes down our equipment after the main program.
