Women’s Weekend at Telluride Ski Resort

Women’s 3-day Weekend Camp

A women’s specific program offered as a 3-day camp. Ski in small groups with other women with similar goals + skills. This weekend camp is designed for women who can safely ski intermediate, Blue terrain and are ages 15 and up.

Instructors leading the groups are women who have taught for many years at the Telluride Ski Resort who will base all teaching on the Professional Ski Instructors of America core principles:

• Stance – balance fore and aft and side to side
• Steering – actively turning both feet
• Edging – increasing or decreasing the amount the ski is on edge
• Pressure – increasing or decreasing the amount of weight applied to the ski

Join us for a fun weekend of skiing, improving your technique, and having fun.

This no-frills weekend camp is focused on ski improvement.

Price

Camp Only $ 905.00

Camp & Lift Tickets: $1,055.00

This camp is focused on ski improvement based on the Four Fundamentals:

1. Stance: Balance fore and aft, and side-to-side
2. Steering: Actively turning both feet
3. Edging: Increasing or decreasing the amount the ski is on edge
4. Pressure: Increasing or decreasing the amount of weight applied to the ski

General Schedule:

• Day 0:
  4:30pm – Meet and Greet Event in Mountain Village
• Day 1:
  8:30am – Weekend Begins near the Village Pond. Click Here for the Map
  9:00am – On-snow
  12:00pm – All groups meet for lunch; Any changes in groups will be made.
  4:00pm – Off-snow
• Day 2:
  9:00am – 4:00pm: On-snow
• Day 3:
  9:00am – 3:00pm: On-snow
  3:30pm – Closing Reception in Mountain Village

We recommend Mountain Village as opposed to the Town of Telluride for the ease of accessibility to the program.
