Strawberry Park Hot Springs

Strawberry Park Hot Springs logoStrawberry Park Hot Springs

Strawberry Hot Springs are located in beautiful Routt County just 30 minutes outside of Steamboat Springs.  Open year round, this natural wonder is an attraction worth visiting as it is one of the most scenic and relaxing hot springs destinations in Colorado. Surrounded by pine forests, mountain cliffs, and the sounds of Hot Springs Creek flowing through the valley, Strawberry Park feels far removed from the busy pace of everyday life.

The property features a series of natural stone soaking pools with varying temperatures, allowing visitors to move between hotter mineral pools and cooler cascading water. The mineral-rich waters are known for their relaxing and rejuvenating qualities, making Strawberry Park especially popular after a day of skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, or mountain biking.

Best Time to Visit

Winter is arguably the most magical time to visit. Snow-covered trees, rising steam, and softly falling snow create an unforgettable Rocky Mountain experience. During summer and fall, the surrounding forest becomes lush and green, while cooler mountain evenings make soaking equally enjoyable. Visitors should plan ahead, especially during peak winter weekends and holidays, as reservations are required.

How to Get There

The road leading to Strawberry Park is an unimproved road and can become snowy and icy in winter conditions, thus four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are required. Reservations are required to guarantee a parking spot.  so many visitors choose shuttle transportation from Steamboat Springs to avoid winter driving concerns and guarantee entry.  For guests arriving by shuttle, a bus shelter and propane fire pit are available for winter weather protection.
