Explore the alpine beauty of Telluride by snowmobile!

A snowmobile tour with Telluride Outfitters is a great way to spend time off the slopes with family and friends.  The trailhead is only five minutes from the company’s Mountain Village office, learn about the old mining days and the early use of electricity while enjoying the spectacular scenery on this guided trail ride. We conduct our tours on a regularly groomed trail system. Ideal for families with children, groups, and history buffs with beginner to intermediate snowmobiling experience.

About This Tour

Tours are offered three times a day (morning, afternoon, and evening) to the Alta Ghost Town, a historic old mining camp.  We begin the tours from our base facility located just minutes from Telluride.  To drive a snowmobile you must have a drivers license and be able to provide a valid ID.  Drivers must be at least 16-years-old or older and hold a current driver’s license. Passengers must be at least 6 years old. All drivers with passengers under 18 must be 21 or older. There is also a two machine minimum.

Price: $ 302.10 Single Rider | No passenger

           $ 408.10 Double Rider |  With a passenger at least 6 years old.  Perfect for couples or parent and child duos.

Additional Information

• All of our machines have automatic transmission, acceptable for all experience levels. We go over the machine with you to review for safety.
• We recommend you wear what you would if you were skiing – warm boots, gloves, snow pants and jacket, goggles.
• Required items are a credit card for a damage deposit and a drivers license.
• There is a 2 machine minimum to go out per departure time. You may be rescheduled if you book a single and no one else books.
• Drivers must be at least 16-years-old or older and hold a current driver’s license.
• Passengers must be at least 6 years old.
• All drivers with passengers under 18 must be 21 or older.
