Our courteous guides are experienced locals with an infectious love for the Telluride region and its history.  These half day group tours take you through some of Telluride’s historic ghost towns, waterfalls and scenic drives only accessible by 4×4.

Journey across Imogene Pass in Telluride — a thrilling ride through rugged landscapes, haunting ruins, and panoramic peaks.

Ophir / Black Bear Pass Tour

Dare to Tackle Black Bear Pass in Telluride Colorado! This loop tour is not for the faint of heart!
Experience the legendary Black Bear Pass while letting one of our experienced Jeep Guides do the hard part for you.

Departing downtown Telluride, we travel on scenic byway HWY#145 to Ophir Valley where we cross Ophir Pass on our way to The Million Dollar HWY#550. Then we travel to Red Mtn Pass where the base of Black Bear Pass located. Finishing up by descending into the valley past Bridal Veil Falls on our way back to Telluride.

We make a few short scenic stops along the way to allow for pictures and to break up the trip.

Ophir Pass & Alta Lakes Tour

A scenic trip to the summit of Ophir Pass!
First we travel on scenic byway HWY#145 to Ophir valley and on to the summit of Ophir Pass. Then we travel up to the Ghost Town of Alta Lakes and Gold King Basin before returning back to Telluride.

*This tour is for guests who are looking for a relatively gentler tour with less aggressive terrain than our other Half Day options.
