About this Tour

With our high quality, pedal assist e-bikes, you can explore further and faster than ever before, without worrying about the physical demands of traditional biking. With the help of our electric assist technology, you can tackle steep hills and rough terrain with ease, giving you more time and energy to enjoy the natural beauty of Telluride. As the only recognized and permitted e-bike outfitter in the area, Stellar Tours creates Telluride e-biking adventures that are distinctive, tailored, and beyond memorable. We are permitted to operate on all United States Forest Service trails and roads allowed for motorized use.

Full Day Tours

Our full day e-biking tours last from 7.5 to 8 hours with 15-40 miles of riding. Some rides will start and finish in different locations while some will be a loop. A full day tour will include a lunch break at a scenic location. Please plan to bring lunch or let us know if you would like us to help coordinate. We can incorporate the Telluride Revealed Tour into a full day as we explore Telluride for half the day and the surrounding area for the remainder of the tour. Another iconic full day tour is our Creek to Peak Tour, which will begin by exploring the San Miguel River and continue up to a scenic mesa cruise, allowing you to take in both the beauty of the winding river and surrounding peaks.

Half Day Tours

Ebike rider along gravel road in TellurideOur ½ day e-biking tours last from 3.5 to 4 hours with 10-15 miles of riding. While they are typically scheduled in the morning or afternoon, sunset tours are also an option. For those new to Telluride we offer our infamous Telluride Revealed Tour where we explore main street, town park, scenic town overlooks, the valley floor and all trailhead locations adjacent to town. Other tours will visit Telluride’s surrounding mesas and valleys providing scenic beauty and wide open vistas of the striking San Juan region.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund with 72 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation or a credit for weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Located in the breathtaking Telluride region, Stellar Tours is an e-biking, mountain biking, hiking and paddleboarding guide company committed to safety, stewardship and adventurous exploration.

Erik Aura, a Seattle native and graduate of Washington State University, is a recognized and respected recreation professional. A 25 year veteran of the Telluride Ski Patrol, Erik is a familiar face on and off the mountain. During the warmer months you can find him exploring the San Juan Mountains on his bike, paddleboarding, or casting for trout.
