We also offer guided trips on Clear Creek, the Colorado River and Blue River.

Guided Rafting Trip | Beginner

Beginner run on clear creek with Colorado Rafting CompanyThis 6-mile stretch of Clear Creek is one of the most exciting and accessible rafting runs in the state. You’ll paddle through fun, splash-filled Class II–III rapids with plenty of calm sections to catch your breath and soak in the views. It’s the ideal balance of thrill and comfort for first-time rafters, families, and groups with mixed experience levels.  Float through the heart of historic Idaho Springs, passing the iconic Argo Gold Mine and Charlie Taylor waterwheel, while our expert guides coach you on paddling technique and river safety. You’ll build confidence, share big laughs, and experience real Colorado whitewater!

Guided Rafting Trip | Intermediate

Colorado Rafting Company roaring thorugh Class III–IV rapids on Clear Creek This is Clear Creek’s most popular rafting stretch for a reason- continuous rapids, stunning scenery, and a thrilling adventure you won’t forget.  This intermediate rafting trip is perfect for paddlers ready to step up and chase the rush of Class III–IV rapids! This trip delivers nonstop excitement with continuous rapids, demanding teamwork, and plenty of opportunity to hone your skills. You’ll actively paddle as our guides lead you through iconic rapids like Nomad, Fall River, Phoenix, Deliverance, and the Class IV climax, Outer Limits.

Clear Creek’s steep, narrow canyon drops about 75 feet per mile, making for a fast-paced, adrenaline-filled ride. While no prior experience is required, participants should be in good physical condition and able to swim. Listen to your guide, hold onto your paddle, and get ready to get wet!

Guided Rafting Trip | Advanced

Colorado Rafting Company roaring through Class IV–V rapids on Clear CreekThis trip is over 5 miles of canyon, dropping more than 100 feet per mile through continuous Class IV–V rapids. From the very first rapid, you’ll be paddling hard through legendary whitewater like Beaver Falls, Tricky Dicky, Guide Ejector, Double Knife, Hells Corner, the Terminator Holes, and Corkscrew.

This trip is only run at optimal water levels, and our guides reserve the right to ensure every participant is ready for the challenge. Swimming ability, strong physical conditioning, and prior rafting experience are required. For experienced paddlers who are ready for the ultimate Clear Creek thrill, this is the steepest, most technical, and extreme stretch of the river- and the reward is an unforgettable Colorado adventure.

Price:  2 – 3 Hours: $135 per person | Ages 16+

Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. We assess a 10% administrative fee for all cancellations

All activities are Rain or Shine. If CAG elects to cancel due to adverse or unsafe conditions prior to start time, we will attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, the client will receive a full refund. CAG reserves the right to shorten or reroute activity in the event of unmanageable hazards or inability of guest to complete the activity.

You may reschedule your guided adventure up to 48 HOURS in advance for a 10% administrative fee.

Please note that we charge the full price for no-shows.
