At the Mountain Sun Pub and Breweries our mission is to offer five-star service, fresh, high quality pub fare and finely crafted brews for affordable prices in an environment that’s comfortable like your living room. There will never be televisions at our pubs because we want our guests to meet and discuss the world in which we live or simply to play Scrabble.

We believe our approach to the service industry is unique and worth noticing. Your server today may be cooking your food tomorrow, or even managing. We all work as a team to bring you the best service, food and finely crafted beer we can.

Mountain Sun is located in downtown Boulder on East Pearl.  Reservations are not taken here and neither are credit cards.  So hang out for a beer while you wait for a table.  The food here is hippie pub fare.  The french fries are hand cut and home made.  There are burgers and vegetarian options. About the Brewery

The Mountain Sun Breweries mission is to produce original ales and lagers of the highest quality. We brew over 75 different beers throughout the year with new releases happening every month.  Mountain Sun Pub is well known for a creative and original approach to brewing beer. There are more than 20 beers on tap daily. Unique about Mountain Sun, you will not find their beer anywhere, but at their own locations.  So make your way to Mountain Sun and try a Colorado Kind, or FY I.P.A.

Southern Sun

With the same unique business philosophies, a larger version of the original pub opened in South Boulder in September 2002. Designed with a ten-barrel brewery, the Southern Sun boasted a living room, an expansive patio, and greater seating capacity. Just like the Mountain Sun, there were no televisions and instead, bookshelves filled with novels and board games.
