Taking an Inflatable Kayak Tour is an amazing way to explore the waterways of Colorado. Colorado Adventure Guides offers inflatable kayak rentals and guided tours in central Colorado. We offer guided half day and full day inflatable kayak river trips on the pristine Lake Dillon and river trips on the Upper Colorado River. Inflatable kayaks, commonly referred to as “Duckies”, are an amazing way for the more adventurous spirits to enjoy their own trip on the lake or down the river.
The waters of the Upper Colorado River make a perfect playground for inflatable kayaks. We also offer inflatable kayak grab & go rentals, lessons, and guided river trips.
About these tours
Take control of your own boat and experience the river up close on an inflatable kayak (ducky) adventure on the beautiful Upper Colorado River. These stable, sit-on-top kayaks let you paddle your own craft while following one of our professional guides down a scenic stretch of river.
This section of the Upper Colorado is perfect for duckies, with plenty of calm water to cruise and playful Class I–II rapids that add just the right amount of splash and excitement. At higher flows, you may even encounter a few Class III rapids for an extra thrill.
Choose a single ducky for a solo adventure or a tandem ducky if you’d rather paddle with a partner. Either way, you’ll enjoy incredible canyon views, quiet stretches of river, and plenty of chances to spot wildlife along the banks.
First time kayaking? No problem. Our guides provide a full safety briefing and tips to help you feel comfortable and confident before you hit the water. This trip is great for families, first-timers, and groups looking for a fun and active way to experience the river.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. We assess a 10% administrative fee for all cancellations
All activities are Rain or Shine. If CAG elects to cancel due to adverse or unsafe conditions prior to start time, we will attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, the client will receive a full refund. CAG reserves the right to shorten or reroute activity in the event of unmanageable hazards or inability of guest to complete the activity.
You may reschedule your guided adventure up to 48 HOURS in advance for a 10% administrative fee.
Please note that we charge the full price for no-shows.
