Come to the Estes Park Events Complex over a 3 day festival. Enjoy the free events at The Wool Market with displays, demonstrations and animal shows, including llamas, sheep and cashmere goats.
The Community Spin and Weave Shawl Project
At Estes Park Wool Market on June 13th and 14th, 2026. We will have the fun and camaraderie of a Sheep to Shawl competition but it is open to all Wool Market participants. Drop into our booth in the Exhibit Hall between 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday, and 10 am-12 noon on Sunday to help us spin and weave a free-style wool shawl! We will have an ongoing silent auction to sell the finished shawl closing at noon on Sunday, June 14th. A donation box will also be available, plus use of our Community Winding Station. 100% of the proceeds will be awarded as cash prize(s) to the juniors who have entered projects in the spinning competition!
Sunday – Walk a Llama
This event is open to all spectators of all ages!!! You will have the opportunity to learn more about these incredible animals by walking a llama and meeting their owners.
Experience the wonderful world of llamas on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
