Snowshoe Summit Hike
Tundra Tours invites you to experience a guided snowshoe hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s still possible to summit a mountain peak in the winter. We will help you navigate to the top of one of our many small-mid level summits that do not have any technical climbing involved. Feel the wash of a winter’s day over your face as you look out across the valleys down below! We offer experienced guides to help you stay warm and dry, provide the right equipment for the conditions, and get the most out of your winter vacation!
This is considered a “3/4 day” hike. This hike will be approximately 6-8 hours round-trip, (time estimate includes check-in, driving to/from trailhead, breaks, and approximately 4-5 hours of actual hiking). We will hike approximately 6 – 12 miles round trip.
Requirements: This hike is for those who are active and comfortable at altitude and not experiencing any altitude sickness such as headaches or lethargy. You must be comfortable hiking in various terrains, such as in dry, wet, and/or or snowy trail conditions and are injury free.
