Saddleback Ranch is the only tour company offering snowmobile tours on private land in Steamboat Springs. Our guided tour goes over groomed trails and open meadows on 8,000 acres.  Enjoy the opportunity to see the most gorgeous views of the Flattops, Mt. Werner, Sleeping Giant, and the Zirkels. We use two-passenger, NEW Skidoo 4 Stroke snowmobiles… These machines are designed to be easier to operate, offering smooth acceleration throttle control,Snowmobile tours in steamboat springs and producing an efficient clean fuel, “no smell,” exhaust.

After your Saddleback Ranch snowmobile ride, enjoy snow tubing.  Don’t forget to warm up at headquarters with a cup of hot chocolate and a freshly baked cookie.

Tour Details

Start times are offered at 10:30 am or 1:30pm.  Our shuttle can pick you up at your hotel or condo.  Or drive yourself to our ranch which is located 17 miles west of Steamboat at 37350 RCR 179, Steamboat Springs.

Duration:  2 hours | A three hour tour with lunch is also available

Itinerary

Morning Schedule

10:00am  Shuttle pick up at your hotel or condo.
10:30am  Arrive to Saddleback Ranch  – Please arrive at 10:20am if you are driving yourself.
11am – 1pm Snowmobile Tour
1:30pm  load shuttle for return to Steamboat

Afternoon Schedule
1:00pm Shuttle pick up (Hotel or Condo)
1:30pm Arrive to Saddleback Ranch  – Please arrive at 1:20pm if you are driving yourself.
2pm – 4pm Snowmobile Tour
4:30pm Board shuttle for return to your hotel or condo in Steamboat.

About Saddle Back Ranch

Wayne and Luanna Lacovetto purchased Saddleback Ranch from Luanna’s father, Jim Thompson, in 1993. In the years prior to ranching, they had other family-owned and operated businesses, including a cattle feedlot, a fishing store, and a grocery store.

Today, the fourth generation working cattle ranch and recreational business of Saddleback Ranch is a product of their combined visions and a lifetime of experiences. They take great pride in the ranch and their way of life, but most of all they love sharing it with the thousands of people who come to visit every year.
