2 Hour Trail Ride – The Most Popular!
Our 2 hour ride is a favorite among families and groups. The 2 hour horseback ride, follows the Fall River to the base of Deer Mountain and Aspen Glen area into Lil Horseshoe Park and Hidden Meadows. Wildflowers dot the area, surrounded by the snow-capped Mummy Range. This ride is great for all ages and safe for all levels. Trail rides include helmet, quality equipment, rain gear and saddlebags to store your personal belongings.

3 Hour Trail Ride | $160.00
This ride is good for those wanting a little longer than 2 hours, but don’t quite have time for our popular 4 hour ride. Good for school ages kids. There is no break on this ride.
OPTION 1) Extend off the 2 hour loop trail, this 3 hours venture up Deer Mountain you will have views of the continental Divide or views of the Fall river corridor. Departs at 9 am or 1 pm.
OPTION 2) Extend off the 2 hour loop to venture toward Horseshoe Park getting a closer look of the mummy range, forging several streams and water crossings along the way. Looking for moose is popular on this ride. Departing at 2 p.m..
3.5 Hour Trail Ride | $170.00
This ride extends off our 2 hour loop and Rides along the north face of Deer Mountain following the Fall River Corridor towards Estes Park. This ride offers great views of that corridor along the way from a mountain side, with a spectacular overlook of the Estes Park Valley and Lake Estes half way through the ride, with great picture taking opportunities. On the way back, you will get great views of the mummy mountain range. There is no break point along ride.
4 Hour Half Day Trail Ride | $180.00
Our half day ride or 4 hour ride is a leisure paced, relaxing tour on horseback of Horseshoe Park to Endo Valley. Crossing several streams, the Fall River, and viewing some of the after effects of the Lawn Lake Flood in 1982 and the 2013 floods. this gives you a view of the sheep lakes in Horseshoe Park and a close-up encounter of one of “Rocky’s” most popular areas. This 4 hour ride is a good fit for school aged kids or above and good for any skill level. Pack a snack or hike to the Alluvial Fan area during your 15-20 minute break in Endo Valley.

Please arrive at our barn which is located on Highway 34 just past the new Fall River Visitor Center and just before the North Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our address is 4600 Fall River Rd Estes Park, CO 80517, however it can be difficult for GOOGLE MAPS to find us.
What to Bring
- Long pants.
- Closed toed shoes.
- A sweatshirt or jacket to layer JUST IN CASE it gets windy or cool.
- Bring a bottle of water! We can tie this onto your saddle so you can be hydrated during your ride!
- For a 4 hour ride or longer, bring snacks or a small meal. We’ll pack this into a saddle bag for you to bring with you.
- A hat.
Age & Weight Limits
- You must be 4 years old to ride on a big horse
- Kids MUST be under 50lbs to ride a pony
- There is NO double riding allowed
- Weight limits below:
- 2 hour ride is 280 lbs.
- 3 hour ride 240 lbs.
- 4 hour ride 240 lbs.
- 6 hour ride 220 lbs.
- 7+ hour ride 200 lbs
Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Tours run rain or shine. If weather concerns arise, call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.

For more than 50 years, the Kokjohn family has been providing families with fond memories when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and the Estes Park area. Their professional stables and well maintained horses have been an institution in Estes Park. Today, Jessi Kokjohn continues the family tradition each summer, greeting new and returning guests.
