Summer festivals are a weekly form of entertainment in Keystone. June hosts the Keystone Bacon & Bourbon Festival. The Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival is in July. Two great weekends to build your vacation around. Outdoor concerts are a weekly event in town too.

Hiking
Keystone has trails from easy walks with the kiddos on Oro Grande Trail to more challenging trails such as the Keystone Gulch. To search for local trails, visit Alltrails. They give in depth directions and descriptions of the area trails. Even the dog friendly ones too! When hiking in Colorado, be prepared. With the altitude and bluebird sky, the sun can be fierce. Take sunscreen, lots of water and leave no trace!
Mountain Biking
If moving faster on the trails is your interest, then Keystone is your destination for the summer. There are numerous beginner trails for visitors new to mountain biking. Keystone Bike Park, located in River Run Village, is a playground for kids and seasoned riders. Known as a downhillers dream, this bike park has is professionally-maintained and welcomes riders of all abilities, from easy family cruisers. to technical rock gardens, drops, and high-speed features. Cycling
Another popular summer activity in Keystone is cycling. There are miles of dedicated bike paths connecting Keystone to Snowmass and points beyond, such as Basalt. You can rent a bike at a local bike shop. They will help will show you which bike best fits you.
