Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience | September 29 – 31, 2025
The internationally recognized open-air festival, the JAS Labor Day Experience in Snowmass Village, Colorado, takes place at Snowmass Town Park with the spectacular Elk Mountain Range as a backdrop. Catering to crowds of up to 10,000 people daily, the festival features one main stage and one side stage, the JAS Village, including food, craft, and merchandise vendors, a kid’s corner, and one of the country’s most exclusive VIP experiences. The Aspen community and Aspen Skiing Company are proud to have welcomed the LGBTQ community into ours for the better part of half a century. This week-long festival serves up 7 nights of parties, concerts, comedy, films, symposiums and dinners. During the day, festival goers enjoy Aspen Snowmass’ four mountains of terrain, special lunches, receptions and, you guessed it, more parties. Venues include the four mountains of Aspen Snowmass, the Wheeler Opera House, and a variety of hotels and restaurants around town. The world’s premier winter action-sports event is more than just tricked-out freeride skiing runs and halfpipe throw-downs. X Games returns to Aspen, Colorado’s Buttermilk Mountain for the world’s best action sports, music and festival experience — on snow! All sport competitions are free and open to the public. X Games Aspen is FREE to attend and will have live coverage of the event on ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC. Fans can follow along @AspenSnowmass & @XGames across social channels for a behind-the-scenes look into X Games Aspen. The Power Of Four Skimo race takes place in beautiful Aspen Colorado and is one of the leading ski-mountaineering races in the western hemisphere. This event is part of The Power of Four Race Series, a unique multi-sport event series that includes mountain bike and and trail run races during the summer: Aspen Snowmass 50 MTB; Power of Four Trail Run. Competitors will climb and descend each of the four ski resorts in the towns of Aspen/Snowmass. This means they will ascend Snowmass, progress through the backcountry and traverse Buttermilk, and then to the bottom of Aspen Highlands. Then racers will ascend all the way to the famous Highlands bowl where they will make a stunning descent and then finally climb the backside of Aspen Mountain (Ajax). The race has to be done in a partner (groups of two) and racers will have to stick together through the duration of the course. The course is a big one; there is a whopping 11,453′ feet of elevation game over the distance of 24.8 miles!!! Registration will open soon. Welcome to the 2026 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix – a FIS Free ski & Snowboard World Cup halfpipe and slopestyle event at Aspen Snowmass, Colorado! The Toyota U.S. Grand Prix is the longest-running winter action sports tour and has been a major part of the Stifel U.S. Freeski Team and Hydro Flask U.S. Snowboard Team Olympic qualification series since 1998. It has launched Olympic medalists toward medals, including Chloe Kim, Jamie Anderson, Red Gerard, Shaun White, David Wise and Nick Goepper. What?! We just opened!
