 s from the raw emotional energy of the past. Jason’s knowledge about t
 he early pioneers of bluegrass guitar landed him a feature article in Fl
 atpicking Guitar magazine\, for which he has also appeared as a guest co
 lumnist. Jason’s unique vocal style plays a key role in the Blue Canyo
 n Boys’ sound.\n\nJason grew up in Labadie\, Missouri\, and earned a m
 usic degree from Webster University.  He co-founded the Colorado bluegr
 ass band the Blue Canyon Boys in the 2000s which won the Telluride Blueg
